The young lady at the front desk kept trying to put me on a waiting list. the phone so I thought, we are out I'll stop by, make a reservation. I tried calling in a reservation for over half an hour as we were out and about. I thought Jack Stack would be a great experience for them but it can't be done. Not sure would visit again with all options in area when traveling thru but if do I would be more aware of some of the costs. Would recommend getting on the side so I can apply the quantity wanted. I ordered the Champagne salad which was tasty except the dressing was applied too heavy. $3 extra for veggies and $3 extra for potato on a $26 meat plate, ouch. The check was a bit of a shock as a upcharge for the potato too. They sent us home with a complimentary dessert. We did ask for a manager to let him know about the sausage and he offered to get us more, but we were full. Lamb ribs were different and a change of pace, brisket was nice and lean and good but sausage was not, it was dried out like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. Was advised up charge for veggies which was fine. Lamb ribs, brisket and sausage, side of sauteed veggies and loaded potato. The bar order took a long time, waitress kept checking they were backed up, so can't help that. Great waitress and she checked on us often. Short wait even for a Monday night - you can make reservations which I would suggest.
